Lisa and Roger

Roger selected Lisa and they went on their first date March 21. Lisa and Roger got married in November 2003 in Hawaii. The couple will spend their honeymoon in Hawaii.

They have no children yet, but are planning to have children in about 5 years. As far as their lives together, they are just focusing on the wedding, and Roger is finishing up is Ph.D. and Lisa is pursuing a new marketing career. Roger told us that he decided to join GE because he was tired of the set-up and the bar scene. "I just wanted to meet more people similar to me." Lisa added that she was interested in GE from the informational letter she received in the mail. When asked, what would you say to someone who was considering joining GE, they replied, "we highly recommended it. Very professional operation and a good way to meet friends, lovers, and networking contacts."

Mina and Stan

Mina and Stan both joined the Dallas Center in 2003. Mina selected Stan and their first date was on June 2, 2003. They hit if off so well that they went inactive together. Not long after, Mina fell in love with Stan and his little Yorkie. They got engaged September 11,2003. "It was an immediate connection on the 1st date," said Mina. They currently have no children, however are still thinking about it for the future. According to Mina and Stan, they are very happy and looking forward to settling into married life.

When asked what made them join GE, Stan replied with, "I was looking for someone to share my life with." Mina replied with, "I was tired of being by myself." For someone thinking of joining GE they said, "It really works, people need to be honest when writing the profile. The video was extremely helpful in seeing the personality of the individual." Stan also said, "Great Expectations is an organization that works unlike Internet dating services that have no selection to speak of. GE has a bigger and better selection."
